We had a great experience staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the ferry terminal and the iconic Torii gate. The sea view from our room was stunning, and the hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The room amenities were top-notch, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, in-room safe, and refrigerator. Located conveniently near the ferry station and shopping area, this traditional Japanese ryokan offers comfortable rooms with impressive views of the ocean and Itsukushima's Trii. the multi-course Kaiseki-style dinner is a highlight, featuring local ingredients and delicious dishes served in the comfort of your own room. the public bath and its clean tatami mat floor are a plus, along with the friendly staff who support local art and artists.
The hotel's outdated furnishings and decor may not appeal to all guests.

Spent Xmas at a great traditional Ryokan in Miyajima. The local festive atmosphere was lovely! The food was amazing with fresh seafood, sashimi and delicious sushi. The Japanese drums show each evening was really entertaining and a fun way to learn more about the culture. The hotel was conveniently located near the ferry station and shopping area, making everything very accessible.
The futon beds were a bit thin and not as comfortable as expected, but it was part of the authentic experience. Unfortunately, the decor was a bit dated and could use some modernization to improve the overall atmosphere of the hotel.
